Eight speakers have committed so far. We’ll update this list if there are
additions or changes, so please give your e-mail address when you register so
that we can keep you informed.
In the meantime, consider this list of inspirational and educational
presenters and topics.
- Steven Greenhut, author, journalist, Director of the Pacific Research Institute’s Journalism Center, and among the
best-known Libertarian activists in California, along with candidate and
nationally-known activist Steve Kubby will present incisive
observations about why the Libertarian Party of California must focus on local
issues and support candidates for local offices.
- Judge Jim Gray (ret.), Southern California’s popular
Libertarian speaker and columnist, will address successful political strategy
and tactics based on his book, A Voter’s
Handbook.
- Steve Kubby, well-known national and local candidate and
activist, will present his observations for advancing liberty after the defeat
of California’s Proposition 19, the marijuana legalization
proposition.
- Richard Winger, nationally respected ballot access
authority and publisher of Ballot Access News, will
offer his keen insights into what our Party needs to do to succeed under the
restrictive Top-two balloting system that Proposition
14 established in California.
- John Stagliano, long-time libertarian activist and
amazingly colorful entertainment entrepreneur, will tell us about his recent
First Amendment triumph in his court trial against seven counts of
obscenity.
- Tad Lumpkin and Harold Uhl, up-and-coming
libertarian activists in the realm of digital entertainment, will present their
fast-paced, laugh-filled, and deadly serious expose of the Federal Reserve, The American Dream .
- Carlos Rodriguez, a Cuban refugee and immigration lawyer in
California’s San Fernando Valley, will share his insights into mobilizing our
